Poor Hops has hurt her paw (off to the vet tomorrow) and she has a guaranteed method of getting cones off (reverse between the chair leg and table leg so it gets caught and comes off) we've used this small green sock.
Surprisingly it's stayed on for a good 30 minutes so far.
