Besides the known problem of the pkgsrc qgis not being able to write geotagged PDF maps because of gdal tool r/w gaps, found a new issue. I can add a geotagged photo layer, with labels, but when I make it permanent with a KML file, all of the fields but name go away. Pretty sure this worked before. Will test on other OS.
