Framasoft is a French non-profit organisation committed to popular education about the digital commons. Framasoft is known for its many initiatives aimed at raising public awareness of alternatives to large centralised platforms and encouraging digital practices that are more respectful of privacy and individual freedoms. This is done in particular through the De-google-ify Internet campaign, which proposes some fifteen services as alternatives to those of the net giants.

iPhanpy

iPhanpy

@fantinel@explore.alt.store

The best Mastodon client out there - now as an iOS app!

iPhanpy brings everything that Phanpy has, but runs smoother, stays longer in memory, and has a neat Liquid Glass icon! I am not the original developer of Phanpy, so all props go to Chee Aun. I merely adapted the original web app into a version that is installable as a “native” iOS app - it faces way less performance restrictions compared to running on the browser.

A read-only Hacker News client
