This is what I woke up to this morning.

Fortunately, the filament heater wasn't on.

#3DPrinting #Prusa

A 3D printer's filament is knotted around the spool. The printer has pulled the filament heater over and pulled itself across its enclosure and pushed the enclosure doors open. The printer display shows a blue screen of death, and a somewhat spaghettied print is on the bed.

Meanwhile, the other printer did this before it even completed the first layer last night. It's right; the filament really had broken into three pieces inside the feeder tube The printer detected end-of-filament and waited for me to come help.

The LCD display of a Prusa MK4 printer displays this message.

"FILAMENT EJECTED
Remove the ejected filament from the front of the mMU.

Tip: Filament is automatically ejected when the end of the spool is reached.
