The U.S. Coast Guard is about to seize the oil tanker Olina, which is carrying Russian oil.
The vessel was involved in exporting oil and petroleum products from Russian ports in the Baltic and Black Seas, as well as the Pacific region, while evading G7 sanctions, primarily to China, India, and Türkiye.
The Olina is under sanctions imposed by the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the EU, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand.
