Snowy owl in Northampton, Massachusetts. There are two individuals that have been hanging out in the fields near the municipal airport for a couple weeks, and I saw both of them today. #birds #birdwatching #owl #SnowyOwl #WesternMA #WesternMassachusetts #wildlife

The same bird, having hopped to a different row in the cornfield. Its feathers are slightly puffed out. The snowy rows of the field stretch into the distance beyond it.

The same owl in the field looking backwards. Its face is in profile, and its sharp, black beak is barely visible below the fluffy feathers that cover its face.

Photo of a snowy owl in a snowy corn field amid rows of dried, harvested corn stalks. The owl is looking off past the camera into the distance. It is largely white, but has a lot of black barring. Its eyes are yellow.
