Unfortunately, there are still massive potholes along the way...
Commercial(!) users should be REQUIRED to disclose their use of #FOSS and, ideally, also be required to donate to it.
Unfortunately, current developments in the GPL do not take this into account.
Because no matter what #Stallman says, commons MUST ALSO BE FINANCED! And to do that, we first need more #transparency about how it is used.

@CafeJunkie If you want to require commercial users to disclose their use of serverside FOSS in webservices, use the #AGPL. For sold products, use the LGPL, GPL, or AGPL.
If you want more financing for Free Software, a path forward is the Sovereign Tech Fund:

Tech companies should pay their taxes, and those taxes should partially go towards financing the infrastructure they depend on (Free Software).
(otherwise you run into problems with trade secrets)
