The number of exposition characters is ridiculous.

There’s the character who is an alien. And suddenly Sgt Exposition gives a whole speech about the history of androids.

And whenever they need some exposition, the computer pops online to explain what is happening.

And there’s the scene with the queen where the dude is somehow alive to narrate. But the queen doesn’t lay eggs? Or does, because we saw eggs somehow? But ALSO gives birth? And here’s there to narrate until he’s no longer needed.

And some of the lines. “We did it. We saved the Earth.” That one goes down with one the all-time great lines from Flash Gordon: “Flash! Flash! I love you! But we only have 14 hours to save the Earth!”
