Like a lot of stitching and weaving machines that are 40-50+ years old rely on FDDs internally and replacing those with USB flashdrives is a no-brainer.

I mean, @TechTangents took a look at one of those #USB - #ISA Adapters which are only useful for storage really, as booting those is flaky at best...

With 30+ year old machines you can already be happy when they're using IDE drives and not floppies though...

Like: #JM20330 & #JM20330 / #JM20330S

Which I intent to use for the #tiny486 as a means to just not having to use IDE drives...
