White Crowned Sparrow: I used to avoid photographs with human-made objects "interfering" with nature (or, the rest of nature, as we are animals too), but I have really done a 180. This weathered chain link fence, for example, matches the natural background to offer a bit of camouflage for our friend and provides a nice perch. The fence's purpose is to help maintain clean waterways for local wildlife.
