@nina_kali_nina Coming from #Windows and its Bitmaps (*.bmp) in the 1990s, I wondered why on #Linux the X Bitmaps (*.xbm) always were b&w only. Until I thought a second about it and noticed colourful images needed more than a bit choice, thus were called Pixmaps (*.xpm) instead 😏
