The pineapple, as usual, is extremely confused by why it is growing in such a cold climate, and insists it be returned to Hawaii. Only one other pineapple top is currently also surviving this atrocity. #gardening

Spring is starting to “spring”. I’ve already forgotten what bulbs i planted last year so whatever comes up is going to be a surprise unless it’s obvious what it is. (Eg tulip, crocus, daffodil of some type). This is a dwarf iris apparently and I love it so I’m hoping that many more will pop up (though I don’t have a lot of success with bulbs planted in flower beds for some reason)

#Mushroom update
The #mycelium of the king oyster mushroom has developed really well!
Today, I soaked shredded paper und cardboard in boiling water, cooled it down and placed blocks of the mycelium in it.
The grow bag is now closed for the next few weeks until all the paper has grown mycelium. Then I'll cut some holes into the bag.
