I hoped that, MAYBE, some american companies that present themselves as being "better" when compared to their giant counterparts were indeed somehow better. Today I'm disappointed, with #Kagi .
I know that it is unnerving when someone posts anything resembling what I myself wrote in their Discord server. It creates discomfort and social tension. I feel it myself, I don't like it either. Not even now, when I'm writing this knowing that I'll find many more of you agreeing with this.
But it is necessary. If we don't ever pressure the ones who hold money and/or power, the only change that we'll see is everything getting worse.
Today Kagi refuses to say what do they think about #Trump 's techno-fascist regime, and I take that as collaborationism. Small scale collaborationism, but collaborationism.

@castarco The CEO of search engine Kagi thinks that talking about politics is not beneficial to a company in the long term. Even if it's just "we stand against fascism".
Let's show him then that NOT talking about politics (collaborationalism) is DETRIMENTAL in the long term.
