HP pavilion 17
Okay guys here is the situation:
- some months ago, I tried to install haiku on the laptop. It failed and when I wanted to reboot on the installed OS (
) I had a black screen. - lock key flashes 2 times, the HP website and support website indicates the problem comes from the BIOS. The screen is still black, I can't access the BIOS.
- I have unplugged/replugged the HDD, the laptop switched on 2 times, but since the Haiku boot, it's step 2 all the time.
If you have any solution, tell me, I'll try. Fortunately I didn't have important stuff on the laptop, but I still need it.
EDIT: I have no boot screen, no screen with the option saying 'press [key] to access the BIOS', it's immediately the black screen with the flashing caps key.
UPDATE: I pressed the win+V keys and this message appeared : cmos invalid checksum cmos will reboot press enter to reboot any idea?
UPDATE2: picture, the picture says:
The CMOS checksum is invalid. The CMOS will be reset to the default configuration and will be rebooted. Please, check your BIOS setup options to see if they change. CMOS reset (502). Enter = reboot the system. For more information, please visit https://hp.com/go/techcenter/startup
