I can't remember if I posted about this already or not...
One of my New Year's resolutions was to stop buying books from #Amazon. I read about 85 books per year; I LOVE to read. But I don't want to give my money to Amazon.
I've been using BookShop.org, which provides both physical and #DRM free e-books, AND allows me to designate 30% of the book's list price to my favorite local book store!

hoffentlich wird mein LieblingsbuchXY nie als Film (oder Serie)* adaptiert, weil es zu 90% seelenloser Quark von einem seelenlosen Streamingservice, sein wird, der nach drei Staffeln hinschmeißt und die Bilder davon sich trotzdem im Kopf festbrennen, selbst wenn man es nicht aktiv schaut und einem das Lesevergnügen zerhauen
* ausgenommen Anime, da ist die Rate zumindest etwas besser
