And close all of your browser tabs. Webdeveloper having "beaken" in their javascripts that transmit a lot of noting data all of the time - even if the tab is in "stale" state - is what usually causes me to get flagged as a bot by cloudflare...
@agowa338 fascinating -- tell me more about this browser tab detection. This is definitely a flag I'd be throwing up, as I use workona to manage hundreds of stale tabs...
@iris well the browser tabs keep submitting their useless junk data and then when you (like me) keep about 600 tabs open because you do not want the page content to change between the time you discovered it and read the damn thing (for when you've time to continue that project).
Then this causes A LOT of automated requests in the background and at least Cloudflare doesn't like it.
It probably looks like a Layer 7 DDOS to them...
It's a bit hard to explain, the easiest way is when you install e.g. BurpSuite and configure it to intercept all of your computers connections and then just do nothing and just observe how much junk-connections it'll log...
